Global refurbished tech marketplace Back Market has partnered with Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist Gab Bois to launch a first-of-its-kind capsule collection, highlighting the potential for a more circular tech economy.
With the F/W 2005: Hardwear collection, Back Market and Gab Bois have re-imagined the concept of luxury by transforming discarded devices into a suite of breathtaking art pieces.
Each piece is meticulously crafted and fully functional. As a collection, they evoke an early-2000s nostalgia while calling out the catastrophic amount of waste generated by the tech industry.
All proceeds from the F/W 2005: Hardwear capsule collection will support the Right to Repair movement: the Digital Right to Repair Coalition in the US and the Right to Repair Europe Coalition.
